I have had a hectic couple of weeks, I left work, finished mermaid of the pearls (sorry the pic is sideways) and started the new garnet fairy. mermaid of the pearls is on smf bling and garnet is on smf circus

I started a new job which has been way bigger than I expected so no time for the website or stitching, then broken computer, now damn windows 7 keeps loosing the internet never to be seen again, fingers crossed its been working for a day lets hope it lasts.
anyway I got about 10 new colours uploaded, and am nearly done with stitching mermaid of the pearls,middy and cinderella.

Ive done loads of fabrics for the website, i have been getting loads of hits.
ive done a fabric club and colour of the week, i have the frospect of a new job, i have had a visit from my sister, and I got to the finals of silkweavers showcase.

so now im enjoying some quiet stitchy time, i started bluebell on a smf I had called gelati and im loving her.

after a long time atlking about it i have finally done it, im way from being finished but at least it is started, ive got about 30 more colours to dye and add to the site, and Im waiting for my domain to get registered and then it will be a proper website with its own .com.

this is one of my most favourite pieces that ive done yet, its called sweet pea and yes its another by nora corbett, i stitched it on a piece of sw solo opal luana, it took about a week to complete, and now has pride of place on my living room wall, this is my first piece that Ive put onto my wall. i cant believe how mch pride it gives every time i see it, and how much more it makes my home feel like a home.
I cant wait to get more pieces done so the can join her on the wall as well.

Ive just finished the new mirabilia called mediterranean mermaid, i stitched it on opal lugana and its one i dyed myself and called carribean seas.
this just took a week and is soooo sparkly, my fingers are sore from the beading needle so am stitching something without beads for a few days.

i have no idea why as ive done nothing but i am totally wiped out today, been a good day all in all, I counted how many colours i have created and there are 41!!! wow i need so much fabric to create samples, i just need to decide if 9x13 is big enough or should i go for 13x18 pieces, think i will give smaller ones a try as it costs less that way.
need to get a new scanner/ printer as the one i have has stopped working so thats a job for the weekend then watch for loads of new colours coming up.

I have loads of hand dyed fabric i want to clear out, they have been done by me but are good quality, there is a selection of 16 ct aida (possibly a few 14ct) and 28ct lugana.they are all at least 10x10 inches and mostly 13x18 inches or thereabouts.
im doing a 13x18 piece for 3.50 GBP plus postage and an 18x27 for 7 GBP
sorry but cant do pics but you can specify fabric type and say what you do and dont like colour wise, if there are no 13x18 pieces left then i will send a couple of the smaller 10x10 or 12x12 pieces instead.
they are cheap as i want to clear and theres no pice.

I had another go at the fabric and I LOVE it, im keeping the colour and calling it all hallows. this was done on aida which would give a similar effect to linen but evenweave would be slightly different.

had a gorgeous bank holiday really hot and sunny but not any more iys just all dull and cool again, think we must have had our summer now.
on a better note OH is waiting for a phone call about a job looking really good as the boss said hed check the rota and see where he can fit him in and ring this afternoon.
and Im waiting for the post i have fabrics and charts and new dyes on the way and am very excited.
im going to have a go with a new type of dye and see what results the give, no harm in trying.
should have some pics soon assuming my fabric arrives,lol

lots of fabrics all greys and varying sizes there is also an opal in there hope she likes them, the images dont look exactly the same as the fabrics do in real life.the last 2 are actually the same piece! one taken with no flash in good light (darker one) the other taken with flash on in a darker room.

i had no idea id been away so long, but now i am back and have LOADS to update you all on.

my dying has come a long way and i now have very close to 30 colours, which i am in the process of making samples of and getting images done, ready for starting my own ebay shop closely followed by a website.

have had another mini spending spree and have bought a ton of hand dyed fabrics as well as these 2 scrummy charts to stitch on them, cant wait to get started.

the first one is called tigerlily and is by mirabilia, the other one is called littlest fairy and is from heaven and earth designs.

Oops, been away for ages, sorry for neglecting everyone.

well what Have I been up to, other than buying some of the most beautiful hand dyed fabrics, absolutely nothing,lol

I finished the jewels of the orient, and have stitched this by passione ricamo it was free, and has been stitched on sugar maples sun dappled glade hand dyed fabric.

hope you enjoyed looking at it as much as I enjoyed stitching it.

I have been working on a new project as part of the finnishing stuff I do called jewels of the orient, this is a gorgeous kit and Im loving working on it, this is how far I have got

I need to keep away from ebay, I just cant resist all those bargains, there are so many gorgeous kits on there that I just cant resist but will not get round to stitching but just cant help myself.

how many other stitchers are like that? lets guess, all of us,lol

well it is now school hols and I am at home with all 3 of my little angels for the next 2 weeks then they go back, I am counting the days!!

its all kicking off here today, oh was due to get paid today from his job he left after a week, well he didnt and then the postie came with his payslip and then came the fireworks,
His ex-boss had used his card number instead of account number so his wages are in syber space somewhere, and oh has been onto head office and now Im hiding as hes in a rotten temper all becausse of a so-called managers incompetence.
Hes now waiting on a phone call to say he can go and collect it in cash, but he doesnt do waiting well.

as for me Im still feeling lousy and am falling behind with my rr`s my cough is giving me a headache, but I got another couple of bargains on ebay, I am addicted.

been up since 4.30 as I couldnt sleep and now Im having an easter egg for brecky, such a naughty girl, but hey easter is only once a year.
really need to get a crack on with a couple of my rrs as they will need posting soon, eek and I havent started them yet!!
I hav my dear santa to go out on friday (not finnished yet) then the popcorn to go out on 7th (not started yet) , the crazy rr( goes out on the 10th not started) and then the zodiac rr (goes out on the 15th not started)

dont know where Im going to find the time, but I havent missed a posting yet so Im sure I can cope,lol
